Really weird how the plane of focus doesn't seem to be parallel with the angle the camera took the shot from, but this is a great capture.

The title makes me want to claw my eyes out, but this is a great portrait with a candid feel. Torn on whether or not it might work better with the hand/mouth in focus as well, but the expression on her face and the details throughout are excellent. The longer I look at it the more I see mischief in those eyes!

Battleship Cove

Yeah the tilted horizon is a shot killer for sure. Also this was a free-study so the bar tends to get raised very, very high. I could see this shot winning some sort of challenge like 'odd fellows' or something that would really make the most of the duck and ship in the scene. You should note this location for use in the future. Also hitting it later in the day or early in the morning would provide some much nicer light to work with.
