This is sort of cool as an abstract. On the whole, I think you went a bit long on the exposure. There's timing to illustrate the movement, and then there's a point where it just becomes a messy blur.

Interesting. A little on the flat side as far as tones go and it would look a lot better were the model not blurred. Neat shot though, different from the bulk of the entries and that's a good thing all on its own.

I don't mind the subject of the image.

Ways the image could look better:

1 - a more athletic model

2 - airbrushing/neatimaging or in some other fashion getting rid of the skin detail

3 - either using a different squid or editing the image so that there is a greater contrast between the color of the squid and the color of the skin

4 - change dof to get the whole squid in focus

5 - crop it differently and/or shoot from an angle so there is not such a wash of skin around. I see this working a hundred times better if the girl is standing upright and all you see is the squid over her nether regions.

6 - finally, and this would border on ruining the concept and would certainly negate the shock value, I wonder if this wouldn't look better if she were wearing panties. That would give more contrast to the image as a whole and solve the overall 'blah' look it has.

Really cool. If the areas around the eyes were super sharp and jumped out of the melting bit I think it would look even better. Wait, the cat is melting right? This isn't anoTHER FLASHBACK IS IT??? OH MY GOD!!! OH MY GOD!!!

Cool photo but really whatever the stuff is cluttering up the foreground breaks it. More bananas maybe? Whatever they are, they add nothing and they block the view of the nicely lit main subject. Remove the obstructions and this photo scores much, much better. Good luck.
