Right Down the Middleby levyj413Comment: A familiar view, given that I'm in your neck of the woods. Odd about the colors - I don't notice them either when I'm there. But they work well in the composition though, keeping the relentlessness of the cement blocks interesting. |

Little Guardian of Symmetryby jaysonmcComment: This is a great sly, subtle representation of symmetry - and you're right, the bug is what gives it that little extra something. |

Simple Greenby noranekoComment: I thought this was just lovely - gave it a 9 - a very dramatic, broad stroke way of depicting nature's symmetries. |

day 05by FirstyComment: Very crisp-looking whites, and stands out well against the sky. Nice shot. |

Don't look at me, I'm not here.by MarioAngelComment: What a hilarious pose this frog has - he really does look like he's desperately trying to disappear! How did you even find this little guy? I agree with other commenters that this might benefit from a bit more contrast, although probably not as much as the example mentioned below. |

Day 3 - Book Storeby meneleComment: Great capture of the brick textures - the angle works for me, too - might be too boring if the corner of the building was perfectly vertical. The shadow adds character. |

runby boysetsfireComment: Very nice - moody and effective. I like how you picked up all those highlights in the sand. |

Day 10 - The Messageby ArtysteComment: I really like this - the DOF, the quirky messages, the tonal contrasts. Not bad at all for a spur of the moment capture, I should be so lucky! |

day-11-portrait.jpgby mawearComment: You have an attractive range of light tones here. For my tastes, there's too much blur - I'd like to see the model in slightly greater focus, especially her torso and head, as a contrast to all the blur around her. |
