 Rather like the way the wall has come out on this, although I'd rather the shadow wasn't in the bottom right corner. Will have to reshoot some time.

Editing is raw import and much levels in Lightroom. Some fiddling in editor, USM and saved.

Great capture of the brick textures - the angle works for me, too - might be too boring if the corner of the building was perfectly vertical. The shadow adds character.

Gee, this just screams urban grunge. The brick is really stunning but even more I love the painted sign, it just makes the shot IMO

Lovely, just simply LOVELY!

I love the texture of the bricks and the sign, is strong and in a great spot - my only (teeny) gripe is the shadow over the bottom of the sign.

Boy, do I love b/w images of brick buildings - the have some many great textures and details that a typical color photo doesn't really show. I would really think this could be a little stronger of an image with a little more contrast and a little more definition of the bricks themselves - maybe on the unresize image with some USM say at 25,50,0 to bring out the contrast just a little. I think your idea about reshooting this is a good one - but I think it would actually be better with a little more shadow across the image - more dramatic that way.

Interesting textures and a nice urban feel. The sort of subject worth spending some time with (different angles, etc). Very nice.
