Half-Moon Bridgeby noranekoComment: Beautiful light, congrats on your 5th place! Curious that it is both in-camera and processing effect - wonder what it looked like without the watercolor filter, that is, what effect did you get with just the gel-covered glass alone? |

Life Savors the Beachby colorcarnivalComment: I had to laugh when I saw this one - great idea. This composition is so well done in so many ways - the DOF, the inclusion of the reflection in the foreground, the hints of beach-y background. Very nice. |

Baby blueby purpleflutterby13Comment: Great adherence to the color theme, with all those blues popping up everywhere - I like that they're all hints of blue, nothing really overpowering the shot. Great portrait! |

Needin' a Neccoby levyj413Comment: Very cute - you're loving that 10-20mm, aren't you? I would too, if I had one of those. Nice bit of silliness - captures what candy means to the kid in us all. |

Cotton Candy Riverby jaysonmcComment: Great job - seeing "candy" in this setting takes imagination. This is a really striking shot. |

Watch Your Stepby JuliBocComment: B&W here is great - the stark reality of all those calories! :) Tempting indeed. Nice reflection shot! |

Waiting for departureby jjbeguinComment: I'm really impressed by this - inspiring catch. Great riot of shapes, with those little touches of red wiring and red lights, and that bird. Nicely seen. |

elderby yankoComment: This takes liver spots to a whole new level. (honest, my first reaction :)) This portrait holds a lot of interest for me, but I can't shake the feeling that this is just a tad *too* dark for me to really love it. Now I like other really dark shots, so what is it about this one I don't like? Could be just simple subject matter - I want to see all the lines of his face, but much of the details are disappeared here. I really don't know - I'm a bit on the fence with this one. |
