 Taken on the plane ride back from Colorado. Not expecting much. A little over the top.

Post Challenge Comments:
I knew this is a DNMC when I submitted, so I am not too concerned about the score. However, what I do love about DPC though is that it makes me evaluate my shots. Normally, I would have put the shot in the trash can, but because of the challenge I went through my vacation captures and processed this one. Initially it was a drab blue color and now a fluffy pink. So thanks DPC for getting me to work on a capture I normally would not have. In the end I think that is more valuable than any score.

One other thing, I found it quite humorous with some of the comments. Specifically the ones along the lines of "I normally vote DNMCs one, but for this one a 5". Where is the intergrity. I actually expected more DNMC votes.

Work done in Capture NX.
Non-crop.
A couple of dust spots and a couple of smudges on the dirty plane window.
Used a neutral control point to change the blue to pink.
A few LCH adjustments too.

Jayson, this is a stunning shot. I think this would have done fantastic in a different challenge. If you have any good outtakes, I would enter them in the free study.

very cool shot despite it being taken from a plane and not fitting into the challenge. But i mean, its not THAT far-fetched, i've done worse :P

nice mountain view, looks very nice with all the low clouds/mist in the valleys unfortunately I can see a lot of DNMC's but I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt and letting my imagination run with it :) nice shot.

Did you really see the candy challenge and think to go take this? Or did you happen to shoot a mountain lanscape, and then try to squeeze it into the challenge? Although it is a very nice shot, I won't vote on it because I think it doesn't belongs in this challenge.

This truly is a beautiful image, but I am having difficulties in associating it with the challenge description. It is not my intention to penalize you for failing to grasp the connection that is to be made, but fear that you might suffer the wrath of some voters.

I could be mistaken, but I suspect that you have a few dust spots at about mid page in the left side of the image.

With the challenge description of "satisfy your sweet tooth" I'm afraid your image doesn't work for me in this particular challenge. In a landscape challenge I would have scored it higher.
