Mall blurby MelethiaComment: That ballroom/Grand Central scene was great in Fisher King - you do capture a bit of the dance ball look with the light effect, here. |

Les Fleurs Du Lumiereby posthumousComment: Nice sectioning of color groups moving back through the frame. The bright bit of dirt in the front left distracts a bit, maybe crop out a teeny bit off the bottom? The most impressionistic looking part, to me, is that strip of whites and reds - the background greenery looks almost pontillistic. |

Rocks and sunby MelethiaComment: Absolutely should have been an entry! Your sojourn is really teaching you to find the beautiful in the seemingly plain and ordinary. |

by jmritzComment: I've got to stop looking at images, having a first reaction, and then glancing at the comments before commenting myself - it would keep me from feeling guilty about writing something that sounds just like the comments that came before. But, well, I saw this as an overhead shot of a spinning dancer, too! :)
But I still have no certainty that the image is what I think it is, and that's the beauty and effectiveness of this shot - the crisscross patterns and deep shadows throw all sensible interpretation out of alignment and we're left with a delicious mystery to gaze upon. |

Abracadabraby jmritzComment: A bit of selective blurring, perhaps? Very effective, having bits of him sharp while his "props" are doing a disappearing act. |

by nixterComment: Passing through brief episodes of light and dark - very metaphoric. There's even a rainbow at the end. :) |

Skater Boyby JutildaComment: Capture of motion is rarely dull to look at - this is another great example. Lots of mystery and mood to this shot. |
