The imperfections of the petals is precisely what makes this shot interesting and unique - this is no ideal specimen, this is a capture of a single individual, at a moment in its lifespan that cannot be revisited. Really nicely done.

I have to say I just about fell off my chair when I brought this up on the screen and saw your name under it - you're entering a whole new world with this sexy new lens, aren't you? ;) Pretty soon you'll be up to your eyeballs in saturated flowers - but flowers with a "posthumous" stamp, of course. The point of focus is perfect in this shot. Now I must turn away before I am corrupted by all this "sexiness".
