Yes it's blurry. Handheld at 1/3s at 140mm, what can I say. Best I could do, VR did help a bit though. Expecting a low score on this one, but I thought the image was interesting. I like the tones, the lines, and symmetry going on here even though the technicals are weak. However I do think the softness does help the image just a bit.

Cheers all.

I like the white posts. That is why I composed the shot with them in. I think it gives the capture some much needed foundation. Oh well. My lowest score thus far.

I like how this shot is divided into these strips of color, and the posts give it a framing of sorts. Wonder how this would do as b&w?

this is frickin brilliant. put it in the "blur" gallery. I'm sorry you were robbed of the brown. I wish I had painted this.

lol oh my - so this is your lowest scoring pic. Well I was one of your 6's. I liked the abstract quality of it and also the different layers of nature that you had going on in the pic. The white posts did not bother me, I could see where that was used as some kind of entrance point in the pic. I did find the white spot to be a distraction tho and that is why i did not score this higher. Pardon me for laughing - ths score is silly.

I am having trouble with the many elements in this shot not complementing one another. I might prefer a closer, focussed shot of the tree, with ghostly images in the fog as background.

Poor focus, little of interest.

out of focus, and sort of over-exposed

This shot looks really grainy. I'm not sure what your iso was set at, but if it was high, lower it down and use a tripod. Also the tree doesn't really seem like the focal point here, my eyes are actually more drawn toward the two posts in the foreground. It might help to make sure the tree is really tack sharp.

Not really in focus

This photo has a bit of love and hate for me. I love the almost surreal colours of the photo, but I dislike the fact that I am missing a strong subject and that it appears to be out of focus.

P&S camera? The noise and lack of sharpness really hurt, and that foreground isn't helping either.

I do not see anything clearly focussed in your image. Viewer does not understand what exactly is the picture about

For me, this photo starts with an out of focus foreground, and remains out of focus. I find the white posts distracting, and the stubby tree too far away.

Interesting, but there is no focus point.

What looks like a cool photo I think is hurt by the two poles in the frame. Maybe a few steps foward could have exclude those from the frame. There also seems to be some motion blur as well which distracts from the tree and mist.

wow... hope you can accept some constructive criticism. This shot has much potential, I think the multiple colors would really make and exceptional contrast. Here's where you went wrong... Nothing is in focus: might try using manual next time if your camera has it; The posts: they got to go, end of story; Very pixelated: Could be that you oversharpened, but I suspect it is more likely too low of an ISO. Was it pretty dark when you shot the photo?

I love the composition (other than the posts) and like I said I think it has great potential. You should try shooting this one again. 3

I'm sorry, I think it would have had more effect if it had been a clearer shot. The colors were great...
