Spoon guyby MelethiaComment: That must have been something to witness in person! I like how he seems so pleased with himself in the final frame - a very genuine expression of delight. |

Log by Raish-Duotonedby jdannelsComment: Love this as duotone - both the color version and this one have their merits, but I feel a distinct preference for this take. |

Inconsolableby trevytrevComment: Ah yeah, this has more impact close-in. I'm going to drive you nuts with all these suggestions, but now I challenge you to get a slightly more oblique angle (as opposed to the head-on shot here) - where the lens would appear to look in towards the space created by the intersection of the angel's head and flung out arm (so I guess that would mean you would stand at a bit of angle to the left of the statue) - just see if that changes the emotive impact. Of course it would be immensely helpful if you were 10 feet tall and could get a more eye level view of this cemetery stone :O
As for the art of the oblique angle, this is an interesting guy to know about. |

The trip 2.jpgby electrolostComment: Ok, you get the award for most enigmatic photographer comments ;) - that's quite a list! I'm trying to figure out how an image can simultaneously make me feel expansive and claustrophobic at the same time - disorienting and fascinating.
love pineapple's take: "chromatose" - that's perfect! |

waiting for releaseby AliciaComment: Very appealing grouping of overlays - I like the coloring, and the subtlety of the bars. It seems lit up in all the right places. |

Peaceby JutildaComment: Very creative processing and I like the visual tie-in to the verse. And it's a two-fer - it's a peace sign and a shadow bunny! ;) |
