Ebb and flow of a lifeby quiet_observationComment: I see long flowing hair - a homage to your recently shorn locks? Thanks for the info on rooteries and stumperies - didn't know such things existed! |

charred in gardenby skewsmeComment: The tomatillo husk strikes again - I think you should start a series where it gets included somewhere in every shot. I can see it as that fine veil webbing that comes down off some ladies' hats. Like the title pun, too! |

Antique Fob Watchby sherpetComment: You did get closer and focus on one spot - the face of the watch. This is a fine macro, Shez. What a keepsake - lovely intricacy in the decoration and coloring. |

Terri-hairby Blue MoonComment: I could see this as a whole series - a portrait of a dog, in parts. Nice punny title. Black border works well with this. |

Operationby RetroesqueComment: It's funny how the selective desaturation seems to accentuate the macabre aspect of this game. I like how you composed and processed this! |

Happy to see me? No, guess not.by MelethiaComment: Would not have thought this would get such a low score - maybe the uncircumcised are too scary for some? :) An admirable use of that sexy macro lens! |

Memories of Flightby pointandshootComment: You are a lucky, lucky man to be surrounded by such opportune detritus, and a smart one to take the opportunity seriously. I like the subtlety of these curves - too many times the assumption is that the challenge topic must only be expressed in a large and obvious way, to be successful. A very emotive image, with an air of eulogy. I regret not voting for this challenge. |
