Untitledby MelethiaComment: I wonder how many people saw this and thought of your Ode to Joy - I know I did. Never would have guessed this would be you again! :) I love all the complementary green here - such variety, but it all comes together. |

memory and desireby tnunComment: Very artful and a prime example of how art is everywhere, if we would only see it. I too, thought you were cutout. :) |

griefby skewsmeComment: Cool beans! This was an 8 from me, liked it very much, even though at the time I did not see faces. Now I do, and wow! :) |

Vortexby WildcardComment: This is wild - you told me how you got it, and I still can't imagine it - the pattern is so remarkably even, like a sand drawing. |

Untitledby WildcardComment: Strange how the rocks have these little spots of what look like phosphorescence - you've got a nice misty look to the water here, and how it fades off into nothingness at the back. |

Still Snarkyby Art RoflmaoComment: Such a mild, unprepossessing fellow - nicely balanced abstract, fits in well with the surroundings. |

Harbor texturedby MelethiaComment: I think textures can really heighten the impact of a shot, especially shots of mundane surroundings; where we might otherwise go on autopilot when we view images of the mundane, the texture prompts us look more deeply. If we routinely pick frames and mattes to best present our printed images, we should be able to add textures to bring the best out in them too.
Texture here seems to add just the right touch of further depth to the tones, and I like how the border at the bottom tricks you into thinking you are seeing a crashing wave. |
