Leap Out: Be Highly Noticeableby colorcarnivalComment: Nice to have the (motion) blurred parts sharp while other sharp parts (cat, mostly face) are blurred, all in the same image.
I was wondering how you made it. Did you jump in parallel to the kitten? |

xenonby oldbimmercoupeComment: I like how the old and new, metal and wood, bright and deem, orange and blue, stationary and mobile all merge together in this image. The photog presence is a bonus. |

In the Shadowby JuliBocComment: How colorful. The woman in black brings it to a new level, and the sun flare at the bottom right is a bonus. Others may not appreciate the yellow sky and some of the highlights, but I don't mind these at all. |

her selfby bspurgeonComment: This obviously meets the challenge, since a shadow, more often than not, has some similarity to the body it is a shadow of. This is usually pretty trivial, but here however, I find that the motion blur is actually the true counterpart of the body. It is as graceful and subtle and is flowing just like her foot. So the way I see it, you meet the challenge two ways, which is not trivial at all.
Thanks for making me stop and think. |
