Beautiful moody sky. I like that you included the street lamp in the foreground, it ties in with the upper storey windows in the building and keeps my eye from leaving the scene.

For me, the lighting, composition and cigarette make this shot. It has a bit of an old Hollywood or moviestar feel to it. Without the cigarette it may not have worked at all... Did you shoot this with available lighting or did you use something else?

Thanks for the comment. Actually no HDR, I think the overcast conditions helped to achieve a good exposure without any really harsh shadows and loss of details. Basic processing in PS, duplicated background layer and set blending mode to Multiply for sky only. two curves layers one for the sky and one for the forground and tree. Selective colour layer and Hue/sat layer. Sharpen...done.

Thanks guys, I wacked the Circ Polarizing filter on for this shot. it certainly helps to saturate the colours and cut the glare.
