Spotless . . . almostby TammerComment: Ooo - try something with that glove for light on white. But either blur out the texture or get it razor sharp. The in-between kind-of-fuzzy kind-of-sharp is making my eyes all googly. And a single spot just isn't grabbing my interest. |

Leopard Candleby snafflesComment: It's a nice shape, but the centered composition isn't grabbing me. Also, it's not especially sharp. Did you take this without a tripod? Or maybe the autofocus went to the flame, and since it was dark, the wide aperture meant nothing else was sharp?
Outside of the challenge, I think this could be a really nice shot. Try retaking it with the candle over on the left, using a tripod, and shutting the aperture down some to get everything sharp. |

spots of sweatby kwallsComment: Sorry - not really a pic I want to look at. Aside from that, it might have worked better cropped differently, with more space to the left and less to the right, so we have a sense of where she's looking. |

afflictedby boodComment: Ha! As a post-challenge trick, try erasing all evidence of his face. I wonder whether the spots alone would provide enough contours to tell it was a face. |

My favorite spotby gwreckerComment: Aside from the spots not being the main focal point, this is cropped a little too tightly and the lighting is kind of dull. Try playing with levels, curves, or even just the brightness/contrast sliders. |

Botanic Spotsby nickbComment: Can't quite put my finger on it, but this isn't drawing me in. Maybe there's not enough contrast between the leaves and the background. I don't mean in the sense of the contrast slider in a graphics program, but more the shapes. A simple spray of these spotted leaves on a plain background would've been more engaging. |
