Reading through her eyes...by chimericvisionsComment: I think shots through glasses are neat. That said, this one's a little too straight-on. Search the photos for some other ones to see how different angles, other subjects in the photo, etc. can add interest. |

Sunset Over Cape Pointby Shy ClickerComment: This is glorious. I voted it a 7. I'm guessing people didn't vote it as highly because of the large border, which reduces the visual impact. |

And on the 13th Day...by xianartComment: Well, Christian, you got a 7 from me. Compared to most of the entries in this challenge, this one showed some spunk and humor. :) |

Classical with a twistby MelethiaComment: Missed this one in voting, but I probably would've given it a 6. The details, tones, and patterns are quite interesting.
Crop is less tightly so I see who's playing and it might've been higher. |

Feline Study III - Behaviour traits - The Stareby mistComment: This is the best depth of field in your three kitty shots so far. I very much like having almost the entire face in focus. Combine this DOF with the pose from "Depressed?" and I think you'll break 6.0. Also think about the lighting. Her pupils are the widest here out of the three shots, and they look like vast pools you could fall into. It might also be interesting to get her looking into a bright light so you get the classic cat eye slit.
Unfortunately, outside of pet challenges, I think many people just don't care for this kind of shot. |

Depressed? Me? Nahhhh :)by mistComment: Working my way through your three kitty shots. In this one, the DOF is definitely better, but still misses the image-left eye by a bit. I do like the pose. :) |

Purr?by mistComment: The razor thin DOF is just a little bit shy of the eyes. Good initial take on the subject, though. |
