Differently the Sameby WildcardComment: I continue to really like what you're doing in your shots. You're not just jiggling the camera to make blur for blur's sake, you're challenging the very notion that we need detail to get the story of a scene. And you're inspiring me to try it. :) |

Happy Porposeby MelonMusketeerComment: Hmm. I'm not sure about this one. I think maybe I'd like it better either more blurred or really sharp. More blurred would make it more abstract. Nice colors and composition either way! |

Her Glowby PhotologistComment: This definitely a cool technique. I'm left wondering, though, how I could use it to create a deeper reaction than "that's cool!" |

Dance Practiceby bob350Comment: Oooh. That's a nice way of showing the energy in a ballet spin. I really like the red color. |

into the woodsby krnodilComment: Hmm. I think this one seems to lack a reason, so I'm curious what your intent was.
That is, it seems more like a "normal" use of DOF, where you keep the subject in focus while the background blurs out, but I'm not getting why I should look at the post in the foreground. That said, I like the leading lines. |

tea girlsby whiteroomComment: I think you're right - sharpless is a debatable term. :) This definitely isn't your typical hypersharp portrait where we can count the pores in their skin.
That lack of clarity lends this a vintage feel, like I'm looking at three girls who have grown up, married, had kids, watched those kids grow, etc. |
