As a shot on its own in a free study, I'd give this is a 6 or 7. I like the wild colors and mysterious dark spot. But in an architecture challenge, this doesn't show me enough of the actual architecture. Maybe if the middle were lighter?

WOW. Definitely going in my faves folder. Congrats on the new personal best, the faves, and the comments. And look at that commenter average! This shot just resonates with me, much more than my entry (forget the difference in score - this is so much better).

My only suggestion would be to try darkening the blacks a bit. But I'm not sure that would improve it.

I think this is really pretty, and I like the composition a lot. I probably would've voted this a 6 or 7. The only suggestion for a reshoot would be to use a tripod and a narrower aperture to get the full outline really crisp.

I just can't believe the scoring in this challenge. Shots that I would've easily guessed would be mid-6s fail to break 6. This is one of them. Great shot!

Jelena, I didn't vote this challenge, but I would've given this a 4 or 5. I like blur when it's clearly intentional. Here, it strikes me as a lack of focus, not intentional use of blur. That is, I believe you, but I wouldn't have known that during voting. I do like the composition. Now, much more blurred and I might've voted higher. See this shot by Wildcard, for example, which is in my faves:
