Good eye! I probably would have walked right by this and not noticed the similarity - points for that. The background clouds are interesting, but I don't think the b&w conversion does them justice.

Like the flowers because of the interesting structure, good contrast to background but the noise caused by the effect is distracting to my eye. Good job, just not my style.

Looks like fun. Good idea. Image is a little flat in the color and contrast department, maybe because it is a little overexposed (good reason to shoot raw). The curved lines from the rubber in the road give a decent sense of motion, though I am sure someone more experienced than myself could explain how to really show the speed.

Good attempt at using natural light. Does also meet the challenge. Crop could eliminate the leaf on the left which is a distraction. Next time take advantage of advance editing rules.

Wow, so simple yet so much going on. After taking it all in, the little details, such as the people with legs hanging over the side, sink in. Very cool. Not sure if the kayak is a "minor imperfection" within the rules, but cloning it out would help not draw the eye to that red.

Very nice! Good color and contrast with the background. I like the use of water droplets, but think they are lacking in depth compared to others I have seen. Not sure how to remedy this (lighting angle perhaps).

Very cool idea (and cars)! Like the creative use of focus, but I think in this situation having the foreground in focus would be better for the simple reason that the background lady isn't as sharp nor the lines as clear as they could be to make the lady pop, in my opinion of course. I know the inverse of what you have done is more typical, so I applaud your attempt at the a sharp background!

Really like this one! Interesting to look at, creative choice for object, great color, exposure is right on and composition to emphasize unique structure of these flowers (seed pods?)

Like the subject, very visually interesting on their own and set-up ads to that. Green light is distracting and draws away from the curves of the shells and the golden color on the right that your set-up (lighting & arrangement) emphasize.

Way to spot something interesting in nature! The execution could use some work in bringing out the natural warmth of the wood and the sharpness/noise reduction - especially under advanced editing rules.
