I believe that this is a "missed focus", but I honestly can't say I'm terribly interested in a "proposed site for bookshelves." I suppose the lighting and exposure is nice, and it does look like a good place for some shelves.

My first thought when looking at this is "motion blur" not "missed focus". There's also quite a bit of grain that I don't think adds to the mood or feel of the photo.

In the wide world of photography this shot might seem creative and impressive, but in all honesty I'm so burnt out on seeing it. It sounds weird to say this shot is cliche, but due to all the drama that surround the original version I'm pretty done with seeing anything interesting about it. Also, this isn't as well executed as the originals. There's motion blur on the glass, and a lot of grain.

Focus looks fine to me. I'm not sure I'd believe you expected to get the flowers in focus with those vases in front like that. It's a nice photo, but I don't think it meets the spirit of the challenge.
