This is a misquote, but I think the photo itself lacks. You've got some really hot spots in your lighting. And while I can appreciate a good out of focus photo, I don't see the purpose in this not being in focus.

Now that's where I thought this image should have ended up in the first time around.

There's just such a simple greatness about this shot. The pose and expression are perfect. The combination of lack of processing and your lighting give it that required vintage look that you'd expect from a classic Underdog photo. Simple goodness, I says.
