On the deck, bubbles in one hand, a lollipop in the other, what could be better?by sjhulsComment: I love the exposure on the mountains and bubbles, but I have to be honest; the dodging on the girl is really distracting. It seems so random. This application suggests that the light hits hard and then instantly dies off. Maybe a softer brush would help feather the effect in the future? Another thing that bothers me is the dark lollipop. That should most certainly be included in the brightening process.
This image has such potential to be so great, but lighting her definitely seems as though it were an afterthought. Had a reflector or flash been used you'd have a damn solid image. |

Untitledby melodicgraceComment: He looks so curious and friendly. You want to reach out and scratch his cute little head, but you dare not. We all know they're ravenous beasts! |

Deerby melodicgraceComment: The photographer with you looks like she's wearing a fairy tale gown. I think her choice in clothing actually really adds to the magic of the photo. Who wears that hiking, honestly? :) |

enterby jmritzComment: It's interesting how the image seems so in your face in comparison to other photos in the voting sequence. Your title seems almost commanding me to enter while the image seems just as demanding of attention. |

Traces of the Pastby Kevin_FlynnComment: Excellent composition. You get the full length of the building and a sense of the view from the home even though you're facing the the building. There could be a mall in the view of the building now, but you've shown us a roaming farm land so the viewer can only imagine more of the same.
The clouds could have been a little more ideal, but hey, what can ya do? They still had good interest. |

Claimed By The Seaby MsAmbrosiaComment: Composition looks a little off to me for some reason. There's nothing terribly interesting about the right side, so I would have framed it a little tighter there and had more ocean on the left.
I do like the processing overall. Maybe a tad too soft. |

Flying Dragonflyby bewitComment: I sure am glad you went with this rather than the bee. I knew people would appreciate the difficulty of getting a clear dragonfly shot. |
