Hidden Lakeby SonifoComment: Beautiful photo and location, but your shadows are very very dark. |

Gobletsby ShmeeComment: The colors are very nice, but I fear the slant of your horizon is lessening the impact. There's also a glob of sensor dust under the right glass, heh.
I think the technique used to shoot the photo is well done. Great lighting. The post processing just needs a little tweeking. |

Boys Will Be Boysby idnicComment: While the post processing on this seems to be done well and I love the depth it gives to the wee one, I don't personally think it's a good post proccesing technique for a family photo.
The photo is nice. The processing is nice. I just don't like them together. |

iMAGiNATiONby ilphotoComment: There's some very strange things going on with your border that distract from the photo. |

The Summit by MAKComment: In a quick click you've managed to capture a great story.
You did a good job framing the photo's composition, giving them room in the photo to gaze into the distance. Black and white was a good choice. When I first saw this image I got a very classic Ansel Adams feel.
One thing that is really distracting me in the photo is the little weed/tree that's sprouting on the hill. I would have cloned that out. |

Killer Clowns!by squidviciousComment: I find it interesting that some people say the clown should have been under the bed and others like me think he's in a perfect position. In a way it gives us a hint to the nightmares we all had as kids and even now.
Personally I was never scared of anything under my bed, because I had a big waterbed growing up so nothing even could be under my bed. I used to always see stuff just on the edge of my bed though. There was an antique icechest straight down the hall from my bed that I would stare at for hours, unable to sleep, because it looked like a black shadow big monster.
Now that I'm older, when I'm alone in my apartment I'm scared to open my eyes sometimes, because I'm scared someone will be standing at the foot of my bed watching me. To me it's absolutely terrifying knowing that someone or something is watching me when I'm most vulnerable and unaware.
Personally if I were to wake up and see a clown at the foot of my bed I'd probably make a confused face and say outloud "what the hell..." I'd be more afraid of just a guy, unmasked, standing there.

That Recurring Dream...by Alley CatComment: There's a perfect rectangle in the upper left hand corner of the shot around the cloud, and that corner appears to be darker than the rest of the photo. |
