fire_01.jpgby TomComment: With some noise reduction, this could be a nice Freestudy. |

the laughby timfythetooComment: Love it!
When I was younger I did a fair amount of babysitting, and this reminds me of what I would call the "attack of the giggle monster." No matter what you did to the kid, they couldn't stop giggling! I used to flip the kid upside down and try to shake it out of them, but that never worked; it just got worse!
That apple just cracks me up. So delightfully evil, heh. |

IMG_3288.jpgby mindbottlingComment: The two buildings at the top of the hill appear to be huddled together, hiding from the fire. Run buildings, run! |

Ameliaby freakin_hilariousComment: That almost doesn't look like it's her own foot! Ohm nom, nom, nom!
I think the DOF could have been a bit wider to capture both eyes, but the one that caught the focus is darn near spot on. I do love how soft the chosen aperture left the remainder of the photo. The skin tone and lighting are great.
As for the psychological aspect, I realize Amelia is a girl, but we're brainwashed to associate blue with boys. I wonder if that is going to have any effect on the votes. I'm probably just thinking about it too hard, heh. |

Blue autumnby GedasComment: This is one of those thought provoking shots that does pretty horribly here, heh. I love the colors. There's just enough that's recognizable to make this a bit dreamy. I think it definitely has its place, but don't be upset if it doesn't score well here. |

Fire in the Skyby JimiRoseComment: I don't think the allowed sizing in this challenge allows this image to truly shine. This would be great blown up and hanging in a suiting venue. |

Fredonia Fallby pixi19Comment: That must be gorgeous in person! I think you might have had to back up a full block to get the whole scene in the shot. I'm not sure which lens you used, but you probably would need a full wide angle too. |

Blue of the Nightby ScapeshotsComment: Love the water reflections. It looks like you may have been trying to cover up a tiny bit of motion blur with a sharpening filter. Unfortunately I think you may have had too much blur to cover. It's a damn shame too, because that water is gorgeous. |
