Whitby Abbeyby SaraRComment: I can't help but view this shot and marvel at what life must have been like back in this church's "Hey Day." Definitely a retail postcard quality piece of work. |

Eternal by h2Comment: Your use of such a small aperture is really instructive. The light is perfect. Very impressive.

Party Animal - "In full poetic movement."by jjstager2Comment: In regard to the release issue, they were also filming a documentary at this music festival. Upon entering the property there were huge legal disclaimer signs warning that your voluntary entrance to the park was also giving legal authority to being filmed.
I'm pretty sure this additional legal disclaimer was unnecessary for me to legally post this shot here in the states. |

Board Tree Falls, Middle TNby kevinbruntComment: Great shot. Nice water. I think the shot would benefit from a boost on saturation of the greens to help contrast against all the browns. |

Risque?by turnofthesueComment: I had something similar happen to me at a music festival recently. Got hammered by the voters. Haven't used Topaz on it yet - though it should be interesting.

Farm-4.jpgby judojoeComment: I really like the fundamental concept behind this shot.
The fabric of the dress is reflecting some harsh light - and that is a bit distracting. NikonJeb's point about the dress being a busy pattern is right on - with such a varied BG you might do better with a solid color garment.
You can see that the light is a bit harsh because of the shadow halfway down her right arm. A second light set up at a 45 degree to the left side of the frame would help with this.
I also think you need to have her doing something other than curtsying - either juxtaposing her beauty with an interaction with one of the implements - or engaged in some other quirky activity that would help to compliment the fundamental concept of this shot. |
