 Experimenting with Topaz for the May 09 Topaz side challenge. This is "Winter evening light" .. pine trees and snow; topaz filter and no level adj.

And here with level adj then applied:...

Beautiful and the very reason why I love winter so much. The light and the tones and the peaceful happy feel really speak to me.

I agree with Balko - I like this one best due to the extra contrast providing it a more dramatic feel

Thanks Yo_Spiff. I meant to indicate that I would like comments about which version people preferred. You and Bear_Music are of like mind in preferring this one. After I posted I was thinking I should try something in between the two!!

I think I am a little more partial to this version without the levels. The detail of the trees does not show as much, but I really love the sunset tones on the snow.
