Pink Wedding Cakeby dtremainComment: wow really does look like a wedding cake, and the facade is just outrageously elaborate. tough shot to do given light and surroundings. Photoshop isn't expensive and fairly easy to learn, this house would look great with some saturation. good work! |

Soup's onby jjsmomComment: I think it's a very interesting shot and shows use of thirds, which is always good. Hint: kill the camera-mounted flash. It flattens the depth of field. Indirect lighting, ie one on either side of what you're shooting, will help eliminate shadows and add depth to your pictures. Good try! |

In the darkness of my mind lie reflectionsby purpleflutterby13Comment: I didn't vote in this challenge but I would've given this at least a 6. I like the darkness of the water and shadows surrounding the swan. The soft focus on the swan gives it an ethereal appearance. However, expecting the vast majority of dpcers to get the meaning behind the pic may be a bit daunting! |
