Creek on Honeyrun Roadby cogeroxComment: Originally posted by socalsteve: Cool area - I wish I had scenery like that to see when I go running! (such is life living in LA). And nice shot too! How do you like your 18-200? I have the same lens. |
Absolutely love it. I rarely use any other lens except for macro. I've yet to find anything I don't like about it with the excetption that it's not a 14mm instead of an 18. Oh, well, guess I'll just have to fork out for the wide angle one of these days. |

Flaming Meatby AliciaComment: Well, the charring sounds ok, but the rest just makes me sad. He looks like a big hunk of expensive meat himself. Maybe you could BBQ him and serve him up at your next get together. |

Day_4_My Catby ApertureAshleyComment: Like the way her tail just emerges out of the darkness. At first I couldn't figure out what was going on. |

eagle1.jpgby icu1965Comment: Such an intense animal! We have Osprey here, but no Bald Eagles. I think a crop of about 2/3 off of the sky would improve this, as well. |

Scooter on the Computer by pjangelComment: Simple. Precious. What a great entry for the Reflections challenge. A bit devious, but I think most voters would allow it. |

flying egretby pjangelComment: You nailed this one! What a beautiful capture. Love the detail on those feathers. OK, I have to give some credit to the 400mm, but you must have been fairly close. These guys don't like company all that much. Nice job. |

Day 06 - Perspective.jpgby KenComment: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! What a doll! Love the translucence of her skin, and the fine detail is amazing. How wonderful to leave your worries at the door and become a dad again. They truly transform us, don't they? |

Katie Gray - Day 6by slaaksoComment: Go for it, man. How often do any of us get the opportunity to photograph someone we really admire from afar. Life has put this person in your path. Take her picture. |

Day 6 - The Mansionby wickee_oneComment: The soft focus on the house and the dark tree definitely give this house a kind of 'haunted' feel. Too bad there isn't someone's silhouette in one of the windows! |
