Hydrated Fire Plugby Dr_TotoComment: for some reason this appears like it should be a boring picture. however, there is something about it that i like--the vibrant colors help a lot, plus the symmetry between the hydrant and the fountain add to the composition. |

Burst of Blue on the 4th of Julyby senor_kasperComment: the inclusion of the city skyline makes this a better than average fireworks shot, but I think I may have cropped the upper half of this and gone with more of a panoramic. |

I think I might prefer it without the black marks in the photo though in the middle top part, or maybe just brought down a bit, as the repeating lines take a bit away from the horse. maybe if you combined this effect with some gritty texture or crumpled paper.... |

*by ErinMComment: your overlay gives your photo painterly qualities. nice work. you can get that effect by running the render clouds filter, and the chrome filter on a separate layer (i think thats how i did something similar once!) |

old town, tallinnby muckpondComment: its nice--I would like to see it at full size. I think I might like the overlay pulled back a bit more in the center to enhance the detail of the two steeples--but again, tough to say with the image being small. |

Beneath Clear Skiesby BudComment: I like this except for the compression in the sky--you have a lot of pixelization up there. your boats may be a touch oversharpened also--they seem to have a slight halo. Other than that though the composition is strong to me and i like your concept. |
