Like you, I think a flower fits any challenge topic! I might have made the colors brighter and applied noise reduction and smoothing to increase it's abstract qualities.

Evocative, attractive abstract. Good colors. Nice idea. There is a semicircular outline near the bottom of the frame that looks like a water spot that I would have cloned out. Given your title, I might have used selective color to maximize the blackness of the blacks, blues and cyans to give it a darker background and a more "space like" feel. Terrific job, though... you are to be commended.

Very pretty colors and nicely blurred to make a beautiful abstract. The only major fault is the tiny white spec near the top. Clone that out and smudge slightly the mottled area to the left of the dark green on the right side of the frame and you'll have yourself a great abstract. It would look good next to most modern color abstracts you find in art galleries. I like this one a lot.
