America Westby StevePaxComment: This picture is not bad, the colors are good, it is pretty much in focus and the cropping is even. The angle is also okay. But you know what is missing? The kick is missing. It is just a photo of a plane taking off and that's all. I would have maybe composed it differently, maybe bringing in some negative space, placing the plane using the rule of thirds, something like that. I'm giving you a 7 for it tho because there still isn't too much wrong with it other than that it is uninteresting. |

Evening Flockby SimplicityComment: This photo also reminds me of Hitchcock's film, The Birds. Nice lighting, it works well. I especially like the bird in the middle left, it looks like it is just hanging there. The white blotch between the birds on the right is a little distracting tho. |

Safe Landingby JasperComment: Good capture, it looks so close. The composition is interesting although I would have left more room in the front of the plane, the direction it is moving. |

Child's Flightby smellyfish1002Comment: Good idea and well composed. I especially like the effect of the "vapor trail" :-) Simple but effective. |

Ready for Flight?by JenHallComment: Funny pic, actually it is very interesting and different to what I've been seeing here so far. The crop and composition is good and the B & W is also not negative. I think you will get marked down a lot tho as your main subject is not actually in flight. |

Next in lineby C-FoxComment: Good capture nice line up there. The composition is good, the gulls in the line up are a tad on the dark side tho, especially if you compare them to how lightened the bird in flight is. However because the topic this week is in flight, you've made it appear that your main subject is in the spotlight. Good one. |

Dragon Flightby SwashbucklerComment: Good one, I love the olivey green tones in the background. A pity you couldn't have frozen it completely and avoided the motion blur on the left wing, but I know how difficult it is to capture something like this in flight so I'm not complaining at all :-) |

Chrome Domeby MorganComment: Beautiful photo, amazing reflections there. Did you polish that up before you took the photo? Unfortunately the plane is not actually in flight, so I guess you might get marked down for that. Still worth a 7 from me tho. |

Soarby JPRComment: Good shot, that's one wicked sky in the background. Perfect use of the rule of thirds here. |

Look Mom, No Hands!by DougPazComment: Wonderful capture and full in flight. The girl looks so happy! Although the hands of the person "tossing" are not too bad being in the photo as well, I think that without them the feeling of "flight" would have been enhanced. |
