running girl exposedby jbruno1397Comment: You've cropped too closely to the girl's head at the top. I would have placed the girl further down and a little more to the right following the rule of thirds. That would have enhanced your image immensely. I like the way you have captured her in full run with her arms in the air. It looks very natural. |

Inside Natureby MonaComment: Interesting macro, the color is very vibrant. The water droplets appear oversharpened to me. |

Snail in the Grassby ManicComment: The grass at the front is kind of distracting and your snail is partly hidden. A different shooting position might have worked better, or at least removing the distracting grass. I don't think the snail would have run away that fast :-) Good usage of rule of thirds and your main subject is in focus. |

Ready To Be Exposedby kim100878Comment: The crop is too tight, I personally would have not cut off so much on the right hand side, it needs more room to breathe so to say. |

Obvious Un-(a)peeling Bananaby GeneralEComment: Now that looks like an old banana :-) Personally I would have used a different background, something without a pattern on it. Also the crop is far too tight, I would have at least included all of the banana on the left hand side. |

Kiwi Raysby Faye PekasComment: Very good studio shot, looks like something I'd find in a supermarket brochure or stock photography catalogue. The lighting is very fitting and the set up also bang on. I can't almost taste the juiciness of this kiwi fruit. The crop on the left side is very borderline, almost a tad too much. |

Exposed To the Cold Worldby sagestudioComment: This is good. The centering of your subject, although going against the rules of thirds etc etc, is not negative at all here. In fact I find it quite enhancing. The sepia toning is not overdone, and the border is very fitting. And that coming from someone who is not a big fan of borders anymore :-) Good symmetry.... |

baby teethby grigrigirlComment: A wonderful capture of emotion and the composition is spot on. The tight crop does not reduce the quality of the photo. The border does nothing for me though and it competes too much with the top of the head (8) |

Out from the Shadowsby NazgulComment: A very well taken low key image, I like your idea of the hands holding the stomach like that. The lighting is optimal and reveals just enough for the observer to imagine the form of the rest of the body in the darkness. In my opinion there is just a little too much darkness behind the body and the subject is too centered (8) |
