The one thing that bothered me first about this pic is the hard flash shadow behind the girl. Such shadows always give a snapshot impression in my opinion. A different lighting set up or flash bounce may have reduced that shadow.

Yep, amazing this pic. The colors, the set up, the perspective - all bang on. Thisone just jumped at me when I opened the thumbnail. I'm only half way through the voting so far but this is my favourite up till now. Only the border is not really my thing, but still ------> 10.

Good composition, the color tones are wonderful. A pity you couldn't get the person (yourself?) also fully in focus. Also I wouldn't have included the ceiling in the mirror reflection. Somehow I really like this one, can't put my finger exactly on what it is tho - 8.

This would have been good for the "alone" challenge too, actually it would probably have done better there than here. Personally I like this a lot. The desaturation effect is fitting and the composition is good, maybe except for cropping a little too tightly to the boy's foot. I would have left just a tad more breathing space there. (7)

The idea is good, however it is a little dark. Is that the way you wanted it? It seems quite grainy too, probably from the higher ISO.

Even though you have blurred the background out well with the shallow DOF, it still seems to distract in a way. Especially the whiteness at the bottom and the top left hand corner. Good use of the rules of thirds, although I would have cropped just a tad mor off at the left. (7)
