This image sure jumps out at you when you see it for the first time :) I think you did a good job on this, especially using the shallow DOF to highlight the pearl more. Also the way the shallow depth of field creates those blurry colorful dots in the background introduces a cool effect. The choice of blue as the background was the best choice of colors, I don't think any other color would have worked as well. Well done.

Nice idea, good composition, although you have the horizon bang in the middle. Probably showing more of the top of the boat and therefore more of the sky would have come over better for me. The lower part of your image is pretty dark and you are losing some of the details of the side of the boat. Still one of the better pics in this challenge though (9)

Cool capture! You nearly froze the propeller even. The lighting on the underside of the one wing is very soft and works well together with the shadows on the opposite wing. This is my favourite shot and the only 10 I gave in this challenge.
