Excellent example of negative space. However, in my mind, still life typically conjures up images of shots indoors of inanimate objects. I do see how this might apply though and like that you used a short enough exposure to NOT capture movement of the stars.

I really like the lighting in this shot. The pink flower in the back has a nice glow to it, but is still in focus. I know it seems odd, but I think this would have been even better in my mind if the light was just a LITTLE brighter and if the ground was actually covered with a thin layer of soil. Yeah, I know. Like I said, I'm weird. ;)

Definitely like the theme. Great minds think alike?... :) The felt seems a bit dark to me though. Also, I think it would have benefited more from a different angle. An interesting angle almost always seems to look better than a top-down view. What was the light source? On-camera flash or maybe an overhead light? I definitely like the shot, but would have shot at a different angle and brought more light into the picture. Great idea though and excellent clarity on the cards. :D
