using odd number usually is better... even number tend to force people to group things and count instead of enjoying the image... also closing in the nuts might be better as it make the subject better composed

simple, but close to the edge to boredom. as u used a tilted POV, it might have been better to place all walnuts at the left side of the plate. Photo is a bit overexposed, too and crop a bottom is too tight, shadow should have been in completely.
