Everyone should take time to Stop and Smell the Roses.....at least for 19 days!by dassilemComment: Hey! No fair! ;) I was wondering if one of the Arizonians was going to manage to get Steve for the shot. :) I like the concept of the shot and think it is very fitting of this challenge, as I imagine that spending that time wandering through the desert must have really put things in perspective for Steve. Sometimes we all just need a reminder to take a deep breath and appreciate what we have. |

Steve is going with the flow...by stare_at_the_sunComment: It's a bit of a stretch for the challenge description, but is such a great shot I'm not sure it matters. :) The tones in the image are cool and calming, and the flowing water give a feeling of serenity. |

Soul Searchingby jdannelsComment: Awesome shot. :) The title couldn't be more fitting for this photo. Nice blues in the sky and greens in the grass and trees. And climbing to the top of that hill for this shot shows some major dedication as well. :D Great job! |

Quick! He's being sucked into that Vortex!by samtrundleComment: Whoa!!! What a KILLER shot! :) The haze in the air and the silhouette by the fence make this truly look like a vortex. The star-like light on the left almost makes the "vortex" appear to be in the middle of a solar system somewhere. :) Okay, well technically it is, but you know what I mean. :D |

Still Nightby madcrabberComment: BEAUTIFUL shot. Serene, calm, great use of duotones. Excellent composition, and the title is perfect for this photo. However, how does this relate to the search for Steve? ;) |

Follow Steve's Footprints, And You Will Find Himby AlainComment: I really like how the footprints lead you into the scene. :) However, the top-right corner of the frame looks overly-burnt to me. Nice tones in the sand, but I think the sky could have benefited from a hue/saturation adjustment or possibly a complete desaturation of the sky. Great concept though. :D |

Engineering a train!by drydocComment: Nice composition and a good photo, but I instantly found myself searching for Steve Davidson's likeness in the frame. To me, the challenge was intended to convey the search for or discovery of stdavidson. Like I said - good shot, but it could have met the challenge a little better in my opinion. |
