The only thing hurting this photo is your backdrop. If it was ironed and stretched firm this photo would be very good.

I'm not a big fan of the angle on this shot. The house (and scenery) is very distracting and drags my head to the right trying to view it upright.

Very good idea. I think an earlier time of day would have helped more. If you look at the shadow on the left, it has alot more detail than the other two shadows. More detail in the other shadows and this photo would do wo well.

Nice choice of color and angle. They both work really well with this photo.

I originally voted this photo lower. It wasn't until I got ready to comment that I realized what you were doing and I bumped it up a little based on the idea alone. Darkening the shadows and making the red in the eyes a little bigger and brighter would have helped it even more. The way you have it now, it's so easy to miss your intentions.

I'm at odds here as to where your focus was. If you are focusing on the shadows (which it should be) the scenery in the background is distracting. To the point where you don't even look at the shadows.

If it's on the scenery in the background...it was captured nicely except the brance is in the way.

To mix it in focus being on the shadows and the scenery, taking the photo from a lower height may have achieved that intention.

Great capture of depth, nice amount of focus, good ligthing and color.

Too much focus is set on the lock and not the shadow. I do like how you caught the photo of the lock off center. Most people would put it squarely in the middle.

Most people may not notice, but I like how your focus was actually on the shadows and had a soft blur to the actual fence. Especially since the challenge was supposed to focus on the shadow. Good job.

I think the angle could have been played with to get a better cast of shadows. the color of the flower could have been enhanced as well.

It's hard to see what is actually being photographed. I can't tell if you are looking out a window or if you are getting a reflection of a rooftop. Are those blinds or is it light?
