Jennifer is that you who took this photo???

By the way, this is probably my favorite shot in the challenge. obviously a great portrait with a fashion twist. Love the vibrant colors. The eyes and make up are just perfect. This one stands out. It is better than the similar one in the challenge, based off pose and lighting.

I like the concept. I think your lights are a little too hot. Probably could switch the White Balance to Tungsten and fix that. A little dark on the right eye. Actually like his facial expression.

Leo...you are part of the reason i'm upgrading to a 50D next month. These shots are just great. I won't have your lighting set up (at least not yet) but I'm hoping to produce shots this great soon. I just lvove the color tones, smooth skin, and make up. Great series.

This is a great capture...Love the little halo. Great profile shot. If I had to nitpick I'd say I'd liek the front eye to be more in focus.

I think the crop here is a little too tight. Pull back some. I think you captured her hair and earrings great. You are overexposed on the left side leading all the way over to her cheek. The over exposure takes away from the high key attempt you were going for. An additional improvement would be to bring some extra red to the lips and some extra (but still believable) blue to her eye and make them stand out.

I sort of like the half face idea. I think the high key could have worked if done properly. There are alot of areas that are overexposed. I think your high key effort distorted some of the blue in her eyes and made it a fake color (or it could have been just the color change you did to it. You can also see the halo around the pupil where you selected and maybe didn't feather the selection enough (it's a red halo). I like hte wya the hair and earrings look. For a shot like this i would have brought back a lot of red in the lips and brought back the colors in her eyebrows.

A portrait of a gorilla doesn't really tell me African skies. I like the photo itself. the black and white conversion works well here. I like the tight crop. Some people may give you crap about too much negative space on the right, but I like it there.

All the blurred lines and hte red are very distracting from the photo. Also if you are going to use center composition like this, I think your subject should have been much bigger.

I think the macro shot could have had better focus. And maybe even a tigheter crop. not sure why all the additional space on the left.
