Excellent attempt at a high-key portrait. Her eyes seem a little soft and blown out though.

I sort of like the half face idea. I think the high key could have worked if done properly. There are alot of areas that are overexposed. I think your high key effort distorted some of the blue in her eyes and made it a fake color (or it could have been just the color change you did to it. You can also see the halo around the pupil where you selected and maybe didn't feather the selection enough (it's a red halo). I like hte wya the hair and earrings look. For a shot like this i would have brought back a lot of red in the lips and brought back the colors in her eyebrows.

I am a child of the 60's. And this feels 60's nostalgic. Beautiful girl, long rebellious hair, funky (possibly home made) jewelry and a sense of innocence. Well done.

I think that if it wasn't so over exposed, i think that it would make the shot better.

Awesome! I really like the overexposure, and the only thing I would change is the shadow on her neck. Great shot!

a more exact 1/2 face would probably do better with the masses
