You did a phenomenal job. far better than mine. and I think it's great that you didn't focus on the eyes. this way the hat and skin and all those closer features are in perfect focus. I just realized how funny this is that you called it chimney sweep and I just made this shot yesterday before reading your notes and knowing you were inspired by my pic. thats some odd coincidence.

awesome idea... would look great next to each other in a gallery. I think the same point would have come across nicely if it were a white background with the half shadowed face but not blown out as well.

a scar of mine is visible in my day 12 sp. above my top lip in the lower right hand corner pic. , too bad this is an SP challenge. my son is covered head to toe from his time in the NICU, if there's a scar challenge i'm good to go :P
