as I've been a little out of inspiration lately I thought I'd try and start again with something simple.....

Elegant simplicity in an "olde worldly" fashion not often appreciated these days. The light on the right of your forehead following through to your shoulder highlights the exquisit beguiling expression on your face; and placing yourself to the edge of the photo just seems right somehow, especially with the markings on the wall in the background. Well done Fiona! I agree that its your best photo yet.

Also excellently composed, well worked, and the light is soft and lovely. Good background choice. All of you (including the part cut off at the bottom) would have been great as well.

I like this very much. It still has a hint of color which makes it a bit more interesting. The pose and the overall layout of the shot has an almost nostalgic feel to it, although you are wearing modern day clothes. The wall behind you adds to it as well. Good job.

I actually think this is my favorite of yours so far. Would like to see the crop backed off a bit to include the feet (though that's just a nit pick... see my SP entry with the mask... I got ripped apart cus I cut of my feet! lol)

I like the tones and the simplicity of this. Cute shirt too! :) I'm always looking for square cut shirts and hardly ever find them!

Great look in your eyes. Excellent processing and lighting (natural light?)

I tried to get the feet in, I really did. I am currently living in something akin to a dormitory situation and this was taken in my room which is "no kidding" the size of a shoebox, in short I need a wider lens :P

This is sensational, Fiona! Great lighting and I love the processing:)
Simple really works! I would have liked if it was framed a tad lower to include all of your right foot, but this is only minor:) Simply Gorgeous! :)

Oooh! This has a Dutch Painting look to it - including your expression and pose and the composition. Very interesting! Nice work.

beautiful! i love the sepia and the setting is perfect for the simplicity you are trying to convey. I wish it weren't such a tight crop, though!

Dayum!! This is good honey! Love the light and the texture on the wall behind your head. Love that the pic is washed out but your skin tone is not :D Line between wall and floor is confusing and makes me want to sit and look at it until I figure out what it is LOL *don't take it out, it is interesting!*
