Burrowing Owlby lunachickenComment: cute! I'd agree the blur is distracting. maybe at least keep that sharp line of focus across the grass and crop some of the right hand side off to follow the rule of thirds with the owl? great color and what timing that shot must have taken. Birds hear me coming from like half a mile away. I can't get near one to save my life. :P |

Poppy2.jpgby eamurdockComment: I love the way the background looks but the flower is just too soft overall for me. if even just half of the flower was in focus and then it dropped off that would make it dramatically better. The colors are lovely however. |

Following the Landby JedusiComment: This is lovely. I suspect it could have done well in the challenge. My only nitpick is the way the border gets lighter at the top. i'm not digging that. but the rest is beautiful. |

ManWithCamelby BAMartinComment: The camel is great, the way he's looking at you makes it. It would be better if instead of a tree with lush foliage in the background there was dirt, or dessert. It would give the illusion of a long trek which I think would be cool. obviously a camel probably isn't something that can be reshot. but I think it would be better even if you just cropped out the man entirely. The camels face is the star, the rest is just distraction. I mean that in the nicest way. The camel is fantastic. |
