She somehow doesn't look too comfortable, I guess it could be because of the surroundings, or maybe the wall was simply damned cold.
Not sure if that was on camera flash, if so I think having it (or the light you were using) on the other side would create a less distracting shadow.
I do like how the light comes in from the far left, and also how the skin tone and the color of the wall match.

I like the mood conveyed by the withering plant.

I wonder if having a homogeneous background would be better - like it is it distracts me a bit from the plant, as I wonder where this was shot (an empty room?), which is in fact irrelevant for the "message" conveyed by the plant.
