I like this image, although I don't personally feel that a repeating pattern meets the challenge brief of filling the frame with a subject. I still gave this a 7, since I like the colors, the DOF and the pastries look delicious :-)

Not sure if the dark and grainy effect is intentional, but the lack of highlights makes the image appear flat.

Am I right in saying that you were trying to draw focus to the teddy, by shining the light on him? I think the effect would have worked better if he had been sitting against a dark background, with a brighter light source. Bumping up the exposure level on your camera one or two stops, also would have helped.

There's a face only a mother could love! :-)

Due to the angle and relatively harsh lighting, the image appears very flat.

I think this image would have worked better if the focus was more to the back, with the front blurred. The softer lighting is nice. The window on the left is a little distracting.
