Wow - you just happended upon this while driving!? Cool! It's beautiful and B&W looks good here. IMO it might have been improved if you cloned out the tree by the cross (hey - no editing rules here right?) and possibly capturing a bit more sky and a bit less ground in the forefront.

I love this shot and I think it is very well captured. She seems to be watching and waiting with anticipation for her turn to make a play. Her expression and body language makes this a nice emotive shot for me as I remember back to such moments. The crop and the background are pleasing and the sunlight on her hair is lovely. I didn't happen to vote in this one (was on vacation) but would have voted 7.

Cool image and I think you made a good choice to go with B&W here. I believe that the crop serves to help us appreciate the setting so I think you did just fine there.

Ha!! I didn't notice this one before. This is wonderful and entertaining. I remember being in just such a place in my life! I even love that he's wearing jeans...they emphasize his youth and lack of responsibility - the part of his life that he's leaving behind at this particular point. Great observation & capture.

Lighting and composition are beautiful on this. Very pleasant colors and lighting. I remember sitting on this pic for a little bit during voting not being able top make up my mind whether or not the amount of softness was effective on this. I ended up voting it a 6. Ideas for potential improvement IMO (worth nothing!) - slightly less softness and possibly a 15 to 20 pixel white border with a 3 pix black frame around the outside? Haven't played with...just a guess.

Ohhhh - I hate spiders...I hate spiders...I HATE spiders. OK, now that I've got that out of my system...what an incredible shot of a spider! I can count every crisp disgusting hair on it's body! So clean and well done that I am back to bump you to 8. Nice job. Now...I hope I can sleep tonight! :)
