Cool image and I think you made a good choice to go with B&W here. I believe that the crop serves to help us appreciate the setting so I think you did just fine there.

I always wanted to do Irish dancing, but my dad said the floorboards weren't strong enough to take that sort of abuse:)

This is an interesting image. The two girls at the front mirror each other, and we see the girls behind in the mirror. The concentration on their faces is well caught.

If I were you, I might try cropping the image, so that only the two girls at the front are in the foreground and the other girls would only be in the mirror. This might make it less busy and create more impact?
