Love the rays effect -- very cool. I'd crop the bottom of as cannot help but to stare at the lens flare. Great details on the grass, though!

Great DOF here! I love the twisted branches, I'd second previous opinions regarding the background -- I think a solid color on the background would help the tree to stand out a bit more.
