A surrealistic tribute to Stan Laurelby Rino63Comment: Hey what's everyone going on about the border.. I think it adds a lot to the pic.
And I'm surprised by the placing of this pic though I suppose people want a lot more obvious stuff for their palates.
Anyway still a very very cool pic..(yes that is the word that probably describes it best in my mind) Message edited by author 2006-07-19 14:00:32. |

Lone Fishermanby angela_packardComment: hmm... I like the composition and the view but I'm not so sure about the colours.. To make it look less like a snapshot I think you should have experimented with the colour scales in your photo editing software. The impact would have been greater.. Still a nice catch |

Barlett Lake, ArizonAby Postgate1Comment: beautiful magnitude captured with nice soft colours... I hope you do well against the insanely crazy sky things that seem to dominate DP |

take for a walkby anatolio25Comment: Nice gradient of colours, though the tilt of the horizon is probably the biggest concern here..I'm guessing this is a low light pic where you've upped the light in photshop (I could be wrong)...It's hard to get those right and I think you've done a credible job |

Nature Encroachingby UrfaKComment: Oh, since people are wondering what the perspective of the pic was I'll add that this pic shows the irony of rightful ownership. The title says nature encroaching which is pretty ironic in the sense that we are the ones who are taking over nature and not the other way around. |
