Onto more serious stuff I think the pic's biggest problem is the contrast. A little more light on the boat would have evened it out a bit. |

And I'm surprised by the placing of this pic though I suppose people want a lot more obvious stuff for their palates.

To make it look less like a snapshot I think you should have experimented with the colour scales in your photo editing software. The impact would have been greater.. Still a nice catch |
